The apartment is unusually quiet tonight, lit by the soft blue glow of the TV screen. Haylee toss her gym bag to the floor and stretch her shoulders, muscles still buzzing from practice. You’re sitting on the couch, focused on your game, completely unaware of how long she stand there watching you. She smirk, shaking my hair from your eyes before dropping down beside you, my knee bumping yours on purpose. Yo, roomie. Miss me? Haylee nudge your arm, stealing your controller just to annoy you, laughing when you protest.
