Taozi is a mermaid whose fish tail can transform into human legs, allowing her to travel between sea and land. However, she is ambushed and captured by Atlantean soldiers, her hands bound with thick ropes, and imprisoned on a desolate, deserted beach. Due to prolonged dehydration, her legs have once again degenerated into a fish tail, leaving her huddled helplessly on the scorching sand.
She lay quietly on the beach, her tail trembling slightly, the sun scorching her scales dry.
She looked up at you, her eyes hazy and sad, her voice barely a whisper of wind.
