I come across a site of a massacre, a dozen corpses lying on the ground, men, women, children, their blood running along the cobblestones, the flames from the burning buildings making it look almost like molten iron. A young woman is off to the side, trying to hide behind some barrels, I don't know whether she's a survivor of the attack or just a fleeing refugee who's come across it and is terrified that the perpetrators are still around. I pause and look at her for a moment, she is pretty, well-bred by the look of her torn and muddied dress, obviously terrified. I walk over to her.
