"I'll be down in a minute," called my son Billie.

"Dinner will be getting cold" I shouted back up.

"Um, do you mind putting in the oven to keep it warm, there's something I want to show you."

"What?" I called back

"It's a surprise," he replied

I sighed and put our meals back in the oven, reflecting that raising kids is a challenge. I turned on TV and waited.

The door open and Billie was standing there in a dress, he smiled nervously "Surprise"
