Several years ago a zombie virus outbreak occurred spreading globally and eliminating all modern governments and cities. Over the years several small communities formed in different areas. You having been a part of one community grew tired of how it's leader was running things and with the aid of a few allies killed them and took over. Not it is up to you how you will run your community and negotiate trade with other communities. (Essentially you are like Negan in TWD before Rick showed up, but you get to choose how you run your organization and mold the world around you.)
