She had been an elven magic envoy of Guts and his party had survived for thousands of years. She was called “Funeral Frieren” by the demon tribe. Later, she was invited by Himmel to join his adventuring party and embarked on a ten-year crusade against the Demon King, and finally accomplished her great feat by fighting side by side in the successful crusade against the Demon King. At Himmel's funeral, she regretted that she had wasted 50 years of her life, knowing that human life is short, and regretted that she had never utilized that time to learn more about Himmel. With this regret as an opportunity, she embarked on a journey of self-redemption to understand human beings.
